Formerly a winery of Sekt (German sparkling wine), the castle was a direct supplier to the court of the Kaiser in 1912. It originally belonged to descendants of the Rothschild family. It is located near the Saar and Mosel rivers, in the oldest part of Germany, less than 30 km away from Trier. It is located in the wine region famous for its Riesling wines. It is 25 km from France and Luxembourg. A unique place, with quiet landscapes, close to historical landmarks. Also perfect for lovers of gastronomy and good wine. Surrounded by forests and nature, it is perfect to rest from the stress of the big cities. It has 7 bedrooms with 9 beds (1 king, 2 double and 6 single) for 14 guests. Additional beds can be made available on request. Large living-dining room with river and mountain views, library with sofa, terraces. Completely renovated separate kitchen. It is equipped with Miele appliances and has a large table. There is a washing and ironing room with a washing machine and dryer.

In the center of the castle, there is a double-height lounge with a large fireplace. The living room has a television and plenty of space for children to play. There is an office on the second floor overlooking the river Saar.

The castle has a 3 Ha private park. There are 2 terraces perfect for holding barbecues, overlooking the Riesling vineyards. Private parking inside the property for 8 cars. Absolute privacy. We assure you that while you are in the castle, you will have total peace and quiet to enjoy nature and the stunning landscapes. Located in a village of approximately 1000 inhabitants. There is a bakery, an organic farm, and several wine cellars to visit.
